Role Overview

Head of Warehouse & Logistics West Yorkshire Manufacturing/FMCG Multi-Site Leadership Role Warehousing | Transport | Logistics We are recruiting an experienced Head of Warehouse & Logistics to join a major manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a senior leadership position with responsibility for developing and delivering the warehousing and logistics strategy across multiple manufacturing sites. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately picking and packing orders using hand-held RF scanners and pick sheets
  • Loading and unloading freight, goods-in vehicles, and distribution containers safely
  • Conducting quality control inspections to ensure shipments match manifest specifications
  • Operating pallet trucks, roll cages, and warehouse material handling equipment responsibly
  • Maintaining tidy, organized pallet racking and keeping warehouse walkways free of hazards
  • Adhering strictly to manual handling guidelines and warehouse health & safety protocols

Candidate Requirements

  • Reliable, self-motivated with good physical stamina for active warehouse shifts
  • Good attention to detail when reading SKU numbers, pick quantities, and customer shipping labels
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cooperative distribution team
  • Willingness to undertake shift work including early mornings, afternoons, or night rotations
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom

What Is Offered

  • Compensation: £50,451.55 / yr
