Key Responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly, assisting with product inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service
- Operating electronic point of sale (EPOS) cash registers, processing card, cash, and contactless payments
- Replenishing shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring stock is front-faced and neatly arranged
- Conducting price checks, applying promotional ticketing, and monitoring product expiration dates
- Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock in the backroom, and handling inventory accurately
- Keeping the sales floor clean, tidy, and compliant with retail safety standards
Candidate Requirements
- Friendly, approachable personality with natural communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player with the ability to show initiative during busy shopping periods
- Basic numeracy skills and comfort handling transactions and customer inquiries
- Flexibility to work varied retail hours including weekends and bank holidays
- Valid right to work in the United Kingdom
